It is produced on the basis of saturated polyester resins (polyester/primid), specially selected for good resistance to weathering and UV radiation. It offers excellent mechanical properties and is also optimized for low baking at 160 °C.
Properties of powder:
Density (ISO 8310-3): from 1.2 to 1.7 g/cm3, depending on the shade.
Coverage: from 9.8 to 13.8 m2/kg at a coating thickness of 60 μm, depending on the shade.
Granulation (Malvern granulometer): particles above 40 μm ... 40-55%.
Method of application: classic CORONA process, negative voltage 30-100 kV, it is also possible to supply powder adapted for TRIBO application (at the end of the label is the letter T, e.g. PEQ-XX-X-xxxxx T).
The temperature of the powder paint must be adjusted to the temperature of the paint line before use on the paint line.
